I purchased these on behalf of my husband. He says they’re extremely comfortable and he just deployed with them to Iraq. I think the only drawback is how bulky they look. He prefers a more streamlined silhouette on his boots. But overall, they wear well, keep him warm and seem to resist dirt and scuffing/marring.

Wore these boots everyday for a year in Iraq and they are still going strong. The treads are a little worn but that’s to be expected. They’re extremely comfortable and lightweight. They’re almost like wearing a pair of sneakers, only a heck of a lot more durable. Once you wear a pair of these you’ll never wear another pair of standard issue boots again. Sure they are a little pricey but your feet will thank you. I would suggest buying these somewhere that you can try them on first because they run a little big in size. I normally wear a size 12, but had to get these in an 11. 5. Currently these are the best boots i’ve ever worn, but i would love to try the Oakley boots just to compare.
