I returned this item. I LOVE the shape/style. I would’ve kept, however I didn’t like that the black wasn’t a deep, dark, true black. It was almost faded and looked slightly worn off in areas. The biggest no-no, was the inside/top of the heel was completely torn down to the plastic underneath the suede. So, I found something else, thinking these would all be the same in faded black suede. Really cute on. Maybe I’m too picky.

These shoes were quite disappointing. Although they look nice and stylish in the pictures, when I actually tried them on, the hidden platform and the clunky heel made my foot look very large and awkward. In addition, the ankle area (the opening at the top of the foot, and the heel) was very poorly fitted; my heel kept slipping out when I walked around, even with heel liners. Moreover, I fit into size 8 in 95% of shoes I try on, but the tall heel pitches your foot forward so that your toes are painfully squished and squeezed in the front. Quite uncomfortable! I will unfortunately be returning these and continuing my quest for the perfect ankle boot. I rate it 2 stars instead of 1 because of how pretty it looks.
