I bought these boots as a gift; therefore, I’ve been told that once you put them on, they’re very comfortable, but since they don’t have zipper on the side it’s hard to put them on and take them off. . . they’re very tight above the hill.

This is a decent looking boot, but the picture looks better than it does in real life. I purchased the dust color which is hard to describe. The toe portion of the shoe seems to have a greenish hue to it, which I found to be odd. So the foot of the shoe and the shaft appear to be two different colors, not what I was expecting. It appears be to a quality shoe, although it seems a bit narrow. I ordered a half size up and have plenty of room, especially if I wear thick socks. I will definitely treat these with a leather protectant. Ultimately I rated the shoe based on price. I mean, for a genuine leather shoe it was pretty cheap and being that I can make it work with dresses, jeans and /or winter shorts I will deal with the few unexpected flaws.

I purchased these boots to replace my “so cute” boots from Nine West that I have worn to DEATH!!!! literally. I was not expecting much because my experiece with Jessica Simpson shoes isn’t that great. But these boots surprised me. The leather is of better quality than expected. supple and rich feeling ( I purchased these in “dust” , leather maybe different in black or suede) Only disappointment are the soles of these boots seem pretty cheap in quality for the leather used. Thin rubber sole, that will most likely need replacement after 1 season. Overall, great boots and for the price you can replace them every season.

These are awesome boots! I got them in the black leather, size 7. The leather is durable, smooth, and supple. Sizing is true to size. I’m a true 6. 5 and I ordered them in 7 just in case; they fit slightly loose, perfect for thick socks or putting in an insole. I’m putting an insole in mine so there is some cushion because there isn’t really any but they are still comfortable without. One boot has a slightly larger grain in the leather than the other, but it’s not really noticeable. The fit in the calves is great; they are easy to pull on and off even without a zipper. If you have small calves, you might find it loose. I usually don’t have enough room to tuck in jeans into boots but with these I do. I’m 5′2 and the height goes below the knee with the top folded over like the picture. The leather is soft and doesn’t stand when the boots are off, but they stay up and don’t slouch at all when I’m wearing them. Great buy, wasn’t disappointed at all.
