To those who say these don’t go over the knee – you have to take into consideration the boot shaft height listed in the description! For people of average height they DO go over the knee. I am 5′4 and I slouch them down and they are STILL over my knee.
The sizes run a bit large. I got a 6. 5 because it was all the store had left, and though I normally wear that size, they are slightly large. Traction isn’t that great, and the insides are kind of uncomfortable, but i bought pads to go in them and on the bottom of the shoe and problem solved!
Very stylish boots with jeans and dresses and the fact that you can wear them up over the knee or slouched way down makes it a very versatile boot!
I only wish they were on sale!

I’m very disappointed with these boots. I know they’re steve madden and far from a high quality luxury brand shoe. But,these boots are horribly made. I wore them once and the bottons on the back popped off. I do not have huge calves and have never had a hard time fitting my calves into these boots or any others. I’m an average sized girl (size 6 dress size and 71/2 shoe size). After about a month of having them the lining is starting to come apart.
And the other customer is correct, they do not go over the knee as stated in the description.
If you’re thinking about buying these please take your money somewhere else.

I thought these would be cute over the knee boots, but when I received them they were anything but! They are cute boots but are not over the knee. They do not stay up; instead they slouch down to mid-calf level. The material is nice but far too soft to stay up, and since they are not adjustable you are out of luck.

I bought these boots because they looked pretty cute and it wasn’t that expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for, or at least with most Steve Madden shoes I’ve had so far, they all wear and tear in about a year, these did too.

Would have returned these boots had I not already planned to wear them “out” for the evening. They were embarrassingly shapeless, and not over the knee, which was within the description, at all. They scrunch down awkwardly and simply make my shapely legs look pudgy. Steve Madden Women’s Blondee Boot
