I absolutely LOVE these boots! They fit nicely and have great traction. Make sure to wear good socks though, or while they are breaking in they will give you a few blisters. But I wouldn’t live without them!

I gave these boots as a gift. Within a few weeks, two of the buttons had fallen off. Merrell sent replacements, but they are not identical.
Otherwise, happy with the purchase.

I really like these boots, even more than I had thought I would. I love the fact that they are waterproof but still look classy, and I can wear them with skirts. I really like the look of the straps up the back, and I have gotten a lot of compliments on them. They fit very comfortably, although I did get a small blister on the top of my big toe when I first started wearing them. I have large calves (relative to my height, which is only 5′2″) and they fit perfectly there. Overall, a very good purchase. My only complaint is that they are a little loose around the ankle.

I have been wearing these boots for about a year now, and I still love them. I have worn these boots through a cold and rainy Ireland, to campus, and all around town, and everywhere they have looked great, kept my feet dry, and been as comfortable as a tennis shoe. They work well under jeans and they are fun to wear with skirts. I have found them comfortable through all but the hottest seasons. I have found that they can be a little slick on wet surfaces. . . not so much that I have ever fallen, but just enough to make me cautious. Also, the plastic tags sewn into the front of the boot have been irritating to my skin and my stockings. I have one by one found each tag to be an irritant, and cut all but the flattest ones out (although they may be next). Through all of the miles I have put on these boots, they have held up well and still look great. Somewhere along the way one of the decorative snaps has popped off, and the leather on the snap below has split. I am taking them now to a cobbler to have them repaired, something I have never done for any other pair of shoes. They’re great boots!

I bought the brown boots for fall/winter. The leather is good quality and the color is beautiful. They are very comfortable to walk in, and surprisingly warm despite the thin lining. I’ve worn them in snow and icy cold wind and my feet always stay dry and warm. Good for walking in snow and on wet surfaces-but still be careful, the traction is good but they can still slip on very slippery surfaces.
