The picture of the sole is a lie. It is very different, I was very dissatified to find that it was different with horrible grip, I reccomend not buying. Not reccomended for any type of wet ground, it can get very slippery the sole is horrible, with horrible grip. The other qualites of the shoe are okay but are the same material product as another cheap knockoff. I do not think it is worth the extra price. I found others with the same cheap quality for less, I just thought this product was better because the sole looked more stiff, and had better grip. A plus is that it is made in the USA, if it matters to anyone, and they use EVA.

These were purchased for a relative who is vegetarian and was hoping to find boots that were not made by animal products. Nino Puccioni were the answer for Christmas. Not only does she love the warmth and durability (she tested them in the snow already), but they were only $25!!! Even if your not into saving the animals--you won't resist the bargain.

Please note that they run a little large. Half sizes are not available to my knowledge. You should purchase one size smaller than the shoe size you normally wear. The cut is very generous at the toes, sides, and heel! (I wear a size 9 to 9. 5 and my foot fits snuggly in a size 8 Nino boot!)
I will buy myself another pair this week!!!

Happy Holidays!!

I use to own a pair of Emu boots, and they aren't cheap. So I searched the web looking for this same kinda style. I came across Nino Puccioni and I was blown away at the many colors they have, very cute. I bought 3 pairs of them in different colors and i love them. I live in Chicago and I wear them in the snow or rain. I haven't had a problem. I just think Uggs especially are way to much over priced. If you have the money for them buy, buy them, but now after wearing Nino Puccioni boots, Uggs and Emu's are a waste.

These boots were inexpensive, beautiful to look at, and although not build to last more than a season or two they are perfect for me as a person who wears items for a short time before ready to move on to something new. At this price, I can afford many colors and pass them on to my 3 grown daughters when I'm ready to move on. . .
