The boots look great, but they’re definitely not meant for walking. The soles are very thin, there’s no insoles or any lining/padding inside (and they feel pretty rough inside). After walking for more than 15 minutes it becomes a painful experience – forget ever dancing in them. I tried using some cushioned insoles, but the boots become very tight accross the arches if I use any fillers. I’m about to take them to the shoemaker and have a layer of something added to the outer soles, but really, for this price, they shouldn’t need any such adjustments.

I bought these boots in black and I totally love them. I liked them so much that I bought the taupe ones too. When, the price is right, I’ll buy the brown ones. But, I won’t recommend them for long walks.

This is a cool boot that has a low heel for those that want some height but still some comfort. I haven’t worn them out yet but they seem okay comfort wise. I don’t usually like Western style boots but these aren’t actually THAT Western. . its something that I can deal with. This pair of boots fits true to size, I am a size 7 and got a 7 and they fit perfectly. The pictures don’t do it justice, I personally think it looks much better in person.
