Had just recently purchased these boots and wore them for a full day at work after receiving them. I found them very comfortable throughout the day; they almost seemed to form to my feet as the day went on. Leather upper is a nice quality -- doesn't feel like the polyurethane boots that flood the market these days for a similar price. Lower part of boot is sturdy and looks and feels like they will wear nicely over time. Additionally, this is a great sale on the Kari. They are great with skirts, too. Someone at work noticed my new purchase when I walked in that morning. I'd have to admit they look great and are eye-catching in a casual/classic way. I also like the fact that the toe is not too pointed which sometimes leads to remorseful toe-crowding by the end of the day (as well as the unattractive elongated foot look). These fit the bill for me, especially after ordering some Anne Klein boots a week previous and finding the leather of a much lesser quality for only a few dollars less (yep -- the Anne Klein boots got sent back).

I bought these boots because they looked like a really good deal and I felt I 'needed' black boots. However they were way too big in the ankle and calf and I don't feel that my ankles/calves are especially small. Also they claim to be leather but the fact that I couldn't tell has to tell you something. These did nothing for me, but if you have bigger calves and you want a cheap boot to run around in (and you very well might!) these could be great boots for you. As for me, I returned them.

These are my third Sudini Boots. Being a middle class income bracket person, I can't afford $300 leather boots to walk in the rainy city of Seattle.

Yes I have to agree about quality of the leather with the others. But these are the best you can get at $150 - $170. Sudini is the only maker that offers wide size from 5 ½. Being an Asian (tend to have wider feet regardless of body shape) with a size 6W who have been forced to get 6. 5M I feel so blessed to encounter Sudini several years ago. The 2 ¾" heels are my most favorite height. It is easier to walk at this height than flat heel to me. As for the ankle area issue, the design is supposed to scrunch up and not meant to be nice and snag.

The bottom line, if you can afford $300, comfortably fit in to M width and don't like 2 ¾ " heels, don't get this boot. But if you have wider feet, give it a try. They are the most comfortable boots for me.
